I found the small stakes a problem. I had the tent 2 1/2 years and stored it indoors. Only used the tent 5 times. I recently went on a backpacking trip and while setting up, the tent pole (the only one) broke into 5 pieces and the pole channel had come apart with tears in it. This tent is great , but the materials don't hold up. Only buy it , if you want to use it only 5 times. It had to go in the trash.
