They can be fancy and they can be casual. They match everything which saves me money from buying different types of shoes.

I can tell they are comfortable because my daughter does not take them off. I highly recommend them to everyone. Baby girl has been wearing these shoes the last 2 months and we LOVE them! We used the Stride Rite size chart but still ordered 2 sizes to try on to be sure. We loved that these shoes were "hard" bottomed so that when we're outside, small rocks or things on the ground won't hurt her feet. Plus, this brand really knows their stuff when it comes to baby shoes. My son LOVED his Soft Motion shoes when he was learning to walk (and even once he was a confident walker). I noticed a huge difference in his balance compared to the other shoes we tried. Once my son really started walking his foot thinned out, but before that we could not get ANY shoe on his cute chubby foot. It was a huge selling point for us that Stride Rite makes a wide option in this style. It does not hurt they are adorable on too! I was so excited I recently received a free pair of Stride Rite Soft Motion shoes through a promotion from the brand.

My little girl is not walking yet but these are SO cute on her foot and I have a feeling they are going to have her running all over the place sooner than later just like they did for her brother. Now we only buy wide widths from this brand. These were his first shoes as a walker and he LOVED them. I found them easy to get on and off, and the rounded edges really do help with fewer trips. Excellent flexibility and design. Little man's toes are protected and the sole is fantastically high quality and durable for wet weather or mucky conditions, it still remains highly flexible for toddler foot feel and walking development. I made the mistake of putting my son in Crocs and he tripped on the clunky soles. Stride Rites are the perfect shoes for new walkers. They're sleek and lightweight to mimic barefoot walking. The rubber soles are rounded over the toes to prevent stumbling. And they come in wide widths for those chubby feet. Like other reviewers, I am stocking up on half sizes because I love them that much. Well worth the price! Bought these as first shoes for kiddo #4 in a wide width. The sole provides adequate protection for outside but is flexible enough not to inhibit natural walking motion. A+ on the design of the sole as it comes up over the toe area to decrease wear from all the crawling my little guy still does. The Velcro is nice and long allowing the shoe to easily be put on without having to rethread. These were the first shoes I bought for my walking baby.
