It was great to watch all the Troopers accomplish so many great things. umbreon hoodie for saleWatching every troop negotiate the live fire range and display their lethality and effectiveness was incredible. Everyone's hard work the last six months is clearly seen. Make no mistake- things are not easy out here. But the teamwork and positive attitude are easily conquering the challenges we've faced. The troopers in Warhorse have done great in establishing the TOC, our aid stations, the Combat Trains and the Maintenance point. Dakota troopers continue to amaze with their relentless effort to keep our vehicles running, pushing supplies, and feeding over 400 troopers. The stamina and toughness we are building are valuable. I've seen a lot of runny noses and tired eyes this first eight days. And a lot of smiles! Thank you for supporting your troopers and this unit. We will get back soon and safely. -LK6 See all5th Squadron 4th Cavalry Regiment5th Squadron 4th Cavalry Regiment updated their phone number.
Call Now5th Squadron 4th Cavalry RegimentLongknife families: This week the squadron begins its train-up for the NTC with the execution of Danger Focus II. This morning I talked to the Squadron at our stand-up formation. Three things I hit on with the Troopers that will help make us successful in our preparation are discipline, field craft, and scout skills. Part of that discipline includes operating in a contested environment without personal cell phones and other electronic devices. These devices emit a signature, and that signature can create a risk for the unit. Not only must we remain disciplined through the exercise, we have to test and validate our chains of concern and systems to make absolutely sure that if called on, we have the systems in place to contact and inform our Troopers of both wonderful and unfortunate news. I realize that this probably is not the most popular policy. Please understand, that this policy is not intended to keep Troopers from their families. It is intended to replicate our environment at the NTC and the environment for any future mission, test our notification and information systems, and remove distractions to enable our Troopers to focus on the training.
Thank you for understanding. I know that there will be some frustration. If there are gaps, or things anyone sees that might need work, please bring them to your Troop FRG leaders and commander's attention, or consider volunteering to help fix the shortcoming. The only way we can get through the difficult situations is together. Thank you again for trusting me and the other leaders in the Squadron to prepare your Trooper for whatever the Nation may call on us for. - LK6 5th Squadron 4th Cavalry RegimentHey team.
