Det er ingen hemmelighed at jeg elsker highstreet tøj. Jeg elsker, at det er budgetvenligt og det er netop derfor, at jeg fx. ofte køber tendens prægede items i highstreet butikkerne, så kan man afprøve forskellige ting uden at blive ruineret. Med årene er jeg dog blevet mere kvalitetsbevidst, og derfor impulsshopper jeg ikke helt så mange highstreet ting som jeg førhen har gjort. Jeg elsker læder, cashmere og silke, men desværre er de materialer ofte virkelig dyre og sjældent nogle highstreet butikkerne gør brug af. Derfor blev jeg helt vildt glad, da jeg hørte at Gina Tricot nu lancerer en Premium Quality linie, hvor der er fokus på fantastisk lækre materialer. Priserne er lidt dyrere end normale Gina Tricot priser, MEN stadig virkelig fair. Fx koster den fantastisk grå cashmere strik som jeg har på på billedet ovenfor kun 799 kr. Det er der altså ikke noget at sige til – når man tænker på at det er et item man kan have i garderoben for altid. Jeg har valgt mine favorit styles ud fra kollektionen, og stylet dem samt svaret på en lille Q&A omkring mit forhold til materialer.

It’s no secret that I really love highstreet clothes. I love the fact that it’s affordable and a perfect go-to if you want to try out a new tendency. During the last couple of years I’ve been more quality conscious. I love silk, cashmere and leather and I love the fact that if you buy pieces made in a great quality they tend to last longer. Highstreet clothes aren’t exactly synonymous with good qualities until now – because Gina Tricot just launched a Premium Quality line and I think it’s really exciting news! The new line contains some really nice pieces and prices are obviously a bit higher than their regular line, but they’re really fair and still really affordable. Take the beautiful cashmere knit that I’m wearing on the picture above. It only costs 799 DKK – it’s made in really soft cashmere, and it’s such a classic piece that you can keep forever. You’ve tried our Close Up Collection. What do you love most about it? I love all the knitwear. Even thought I’m not exactly a fan of the weather getting colder, I’m a huge fan of autumn and winter clothes. Especially big and soft knits. Which are your favourite pieces? The knitted skirt and matching top are my favourite pieces. They’re super comfy and super elegant at the same time – the perfect combination. Some of the pieces are from our Premium Quality selection. Why should people pay extra for better quality? There are a lot of great reasons for buying great quality clothes. First of all it’s more comfortable to wear natural materials as they are softer and will keep you warmer. Furthermore, clothes made in quality materials tend to last longer – so even if the piece is a bit more expensive, it will pay off in the long run. It’s also better for the environment if we keep clothes for longer periods of time. Last but not least, there’s the aesthetic – nothing beats a silk shirt.

Denna gången blev det inte riktigt lika lång roadtrip som vi gjorde i USA, men det är någonting speciellt med roadtrips.
