Nicki's verse went: "When I'm sitting with Anna, I'm really sitting with Anna / Ain't a metaphor punch line, I'm really sitting with Anna / Front row at Oscar de la Renta, posture / Ain't a b**** that could do it, not even my imposter." Yep, she's referencing EXACTLY what you think she is—sitting front row at New York Fashion Week next to Vogue's EIC Anna Wintour. And is it just us, or is Nicki going on a super pro-Anna binge as of late? First she called her "sweet" in Paper magazine, and now she's rapping about how amazing it is getting the most coveted spot in the fashion world. Perhaps there's more sweetness to Anna than meets the eye, but we're still sad that Nicki didn't mention the first time they met at the Carolina Herrera show back in September.

I mean, come on, their 'dorbs matchy-matchy photo (above) will probably go down as one of the most iconic Anna moments of all time. As the album continues on, we continue to find Nicki dropping even more fash references, including a line from the song "I Am Your Leader." It goes: "Hit up Hot Topic, Nicki Minaj hoodies / I'm a Brand b****, I'm a BRAND." Huh, now that's interesting. What does this mean for the future of that apparel line she's got in the works? Is Nicki Minaj officially transforming from a rapper to an all-out fashion brand? Hot Topic has become the latest retailer to bring the Star Wars galaxy closer to home. The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned that the mall favorite is launching a line inspired by the costumes and other aspects of the upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

The new collection, which hits Hot Topic’s retailers and online store today, is a mix of nine options that cater to both male and female aspiring Jedis — a change-up from what had been the standard practice of capsule collections that primarily focus on the latter. Ranging in price from $29 to $79, items include an olive green hooded cropped jacket inspired by the looks that co-costume designers David Crossman and Glyn Dillon designed for Felicity Jones’ lead, Jyn Erso, and a black jacket with faux-leather panels. Despite being called the Death Trooper hoodie, this piece has the Empire symbol on the left shoulder and a Death Trooper helmet on the right, suggesting that maybe it is possible to come back from the dark side. Clothing sizes range from extra small to 2X and plus for women and extra small to 3X for men. Rogue One opens Dec. 16. Other tie-ins for the film include Target’s Force for Fashion T-shirt collection that benefits the UNICEF Kid Power initiative.

Among its recent inspired-by collections are dresses, coats, T-shirts and accessories for Warner Bros.’ Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, as well as hats, decals, T-shirts and more ways for fans to share their appreciation for the Netflix summer hit Stranger Things.
