Runs small, but still fits, but not for long! i purchase this shirt for my 6 year old son because he,s a batman fan in a size 8 when he first wore it without me washing it it was fine nice materiel nice room to grow in . after a wash it shrink bad now he don,t have long to wear it because it shrink to maybe a size 5 instead of the size 8 i brought i wish i could return it but he already wore it so if you buy this shirt buy two sizes larger then your child size because it will shrink not sure if i will order him a size 12 or not he is a small frame 6 year old average in height and weighs 42lbs . My son loves Batman, but I have found it is difficult to find Batman shirts. I ordered this one and he wears it atleast twice a week! It never even makes it out of the clothes basket before he has it on again. It is a high quality shirt that has stood up wonderfully to the high amount of washings it recieves here and the tough playing it goes through with my son.
