All donations go toward administration of Core Operations. As of June 2016, The Zeitgeist Movement has established a US-based 501c3 non-profit organization to help with core administrative tasks. Based in California and chaired by core members of the Los Angeles Chapter of TZM, this tax exempt institution allows for tax deductible donations and helps TZM engage general commerce at reduced rates.

Allocation of donated funds include funding website work, covering administrative and hosting fees; the development and promotion of global event days, such as the Media Festival and Zeitgeist Day; expanding public relations work; along with overall media outreach, including better social networking strategies. We also seek to create a better communicative infrastructure to help chapters, while ensuring reliable project heads to help guide volunteer actions in large endeavors. (1) What is TZM’s NPO? TZM 501 c3 nonprofit has been created to primarily assist the pre-existing, core infrastructural needs. These include the cost of websites and maintenance needs, improvement/administration of communicative platforms and other basic requirements. It also includes working to improve TZM Events and media work by increased funding and resources, along with public relations. In the event new ideas are suggested that require money to execute, the NPO interfaces with chapters and the community to reach consensus on the best idea to move forward with.

The manager of the bar, however, said the men were ejected for making rude remarks to a bartender. “The gentleman who filmed the video came in and made a derogatory comment to one of our female bartenders,” said Zeitgeist manager Gideon Bush, adding that the incident occurred on August 5. “It had nothing to do with them bring Trump supporters.” Bush declined to go into the specifics of the comments. The video was uploaded to YouTube on Monday and shows the two men sitting inside the bar at 199 Valencia St. before two bouncers ask them to leave.

What did we do exactly?” one of the men asks, as the bouncer says “Time to go,” and “The bartender said to get you out of here.” The pair then move backwards out of the bar, filming the entire encounter, as the bouncers follow them out, seemingly putting their hands on the Trump supporter’s phone and blocking his shot. “What are you pushing me around for?” the Trump supporter says. “Don’t fucking touch me.” Bush, the bar manager, said today that a bouncer did not throw a punch, as alleged in the commentary, and that he only pushed the camera away. The pair say that one of them was wearing a “Make America Great Again” shirt while sitting at the bar and were asked to leave after the bartender noticed the shirt, according to commentary accompanying the YouTube video. The men tried speaking to the bartender, but she said that they were “bigots” and had to leave, according to the commentary. After being ejected, the pair continue exchanging words with one of the bouncers while running from him onto the street and down the sidewalk.
