And if that’s not enough, Cindy also has a Korean cooking show on YouTube (Canadian Doenjang) and is a board member for the Toronto Korean Film Festival. Shawn Despres is a freelance music journalist that has been writing about Korean indie music since 2008 for the likes of Korea Gig Guide, The Japan Times, The Jeju Weekly, Aurotone, and Groove Korea. Chris Park started writing about Korean and Japanese music in 2008. Starting in the Spring of 2014, he took the reins of the site to promote Korean independent music across all genres.
