Hand painted and finely detailed, these 5 inch little sturgeon have brass fins and 5 rows of carved scutes. Each one is initialled, dated, and numbered by the artist. Medium, Large and Extra-Large This children’s book was written by Shenna McLaughlin, an avid writer, storyteller and artist from Oregon.   She wrote this in 2008 when she was 9 years old.  This book is fully illustrated by Shenna with additional images by G.R. Fitch.  It is a delightful tale told by Sally the Sturgeon about the adventures of her great, great, great Grandmother on her way to the spawning grounds.  This book mixes suspense, tragedy and fun with information about the life cycle of sturgeon.
