For as long as I can remember, I’ve collected sweatshirts—some with zippers, others straight up pullovers—in my closet, relying on them after a workout, while running errands and, well, for pretty much any activity on my docket. So, considering my expertise in this department, trust me when I say that Lululemon’s Kick the Cold Hoodie is perfection in every way possible.

Constructed of the brand’s own Lightweight Power Stretch Pro fabric—which is sort of akin to a scuba suit material—the hoodie is lined with fleece on the inside and is quite possibly the warmest top layer I’ve ever worn (aside from jackets, of course). But it’s not too warm—ya know? The material captures your body heat, but it’s also breathable, so you’re not dripping in sweat while you grocery shop. Warmth aside, the real reason I’m in love with this sweatshirt is due to its design. This is not the pill-laden hoodie from our childhoods, folks. The fabric’s look and feel elevates the game, and the cut is crazy flattering. Boxy in just right way, this is the Goldilocks of hoodies—not too long, not too short, juuuust right. But my favorite part is the actual hood, oversized and deeper than any I’ve ever experienced it gives off a Grim Reaper vibe that I’m weirdly into. Thumb holes and “cuffins” keep your hands warm-ish, and a hidden media pocket for your iPhone is the icing on the cake.

But this greatness comes at a cost, and um, it’s a little steep.
