Socks should be solid black, white, or tan. They may be ankle or knee-length or opaque tights. Shoes should be closed-toed or sneakers. Shoes may not be above the ankle, have a heel more than one inch or a platform. Belts should be plain brown or black in color. Stud earrings and watches may be worn. The only acceptable sweatshirt/hoodie that is part of the Meredith school uniform is the Meredith School sweatshirt/hoodie. Physical Education Dress Requirements Only on gym days in the winter, students are permitted to wear black, white, gray, or light blue sweat suits and sneakers (no platform sneakers). In warmer weather, students may wear black or khaki knee-length shorts and a white tee shirt under the uniform shirt. A Meredith tee shirt can be worn for gym and also as a uniform shirt.
