The brand is facing a "tsunami of competition," according to John Zoldis, senior vice president at Buckingham Research Group. Recalling 17 percent of its yoga pants comes at a dangerous time for the retailer. Some of the brands on the horizon have greater financial reach and brand value than Lululemon. Others have the boutique appeal that women fell in love with before Lululemon's rapid expansion. All are growing rapidly and very real competition for the retailer. Optional: Lululemon Cool Racerback Tank Photography by Erin Trimble Photography. This Lululemon activewear outfit is by far my favorite way to transition my workout outfits into fall and winter with these upcoming colder temps.  There are so many ways you can layer your outfits with Lululemon activewear to stay toasty during and post workout! During this time of year, I love getting my cardio in by going on a gorgeous fall run, but with these cooler temps, I definitely have to layer.  This city bound hoodie from Lululemon has become one of my favorites {as many of y’all have seen on Snapchat}.  I honestly LOVE wearing this jacket as a nice layering piece, and I also tend to wear it when I’m leaving the gym.  I’m always so sweaty post-workout and this jacket is specifically made for some post-sweat layering.  The relaxed fit is also a plus!  Don’t forget to check out my mesh leggings, as well as my staple strappy sports bra that I’m wearing above. A big thank you to Lululemon for sponsoring this post.  As always, all opinions are my own.Sorry for not having a 'fit review' post up this week. The early upload really threw me off, plus my store hasn't received the new products yet (including the non stop bomber). I did get the two sizes of the Non Stop Bomber delivered today (my TTS, and a size up) and my TTS is definitely the size I want to keep. I like the look of the jacket on a lot. I'm not 100% sold on keeping it though because I've since seen two other bomber jackets I really like by other brands, one is a pink satin bomber jacket by Brunette The Label - based in Vancouver and you can even add lettering to the jacket ($165) and another one is a very similar satin olive color on sale at Aritzia for $68 (sorrywehrmacht hoodie, the only color on sale is an eggplant, olive is $138). hoodie drawstring stopper
Either way, I should probably try on a few different ones before settling on the Lululemon one. To see what the sheen looks like, stretch the Luon fabric width-wise with your hands. A fit that's too snug may restrict your movement. And, let's be real, One-Legged King Pigeon Pose is hard enough to get into on a good day. If you don't have a lululemon store nearby and need to get your pants hemmed, start with a trusted tailor who can do the same type of double-stitching we've used—this will ensure the integrity of the gear stays intact.Check out our Hemming policies. Wear a thin, unlined bra. If you can, get someone else to measure you. If you measure yourself, stand in front of a mirror and practice perfect posture to make sure the tape measure is parallel to the floor. Step 1: measure your ribcage to determine your band size Run a tape measure around your ribcage right under your bust. Step 2: measure your bust to determine your cup size Place the tape measure under your arms around the fullest part of your chest. Your recommended bra size is a starting point that should be used as a guide.
Try some on so you can see how the bra feels on your body. Every bra should fit snug—wearing it too loose won't provide you with the support you need. Bra support comes mostly from the band so it's important that it fits quite close to your ribcage. It can take some work (but, it's worth it!) so be patient and adjust your bra size up or down until you nail it. Place the measuring tape around the largest part of your chest—often this is around your nipples. The tape should be flat, but not too tight. For lettered sizes: Use the waist and hip measurements as a guide to pick the right size for you. For numbered sizes: Our pants fit like your favorite chinos. If you’re a 32 in the pants you have at home, you’ll likely be a 32 in our pants. Bodies come in all shapes and sizes. Normally we select bottom sizes based off our waist size. Guys with a hockey bum might want to size up to accommodate your hip measurement. Measuring your hip is simple, all you need is a tape measure and a full length mirror (or a friend).
Wrap the tape measure around the roundest part of your bum and overlap the tape at the front. Turn to the side in the mirror to ensure that the tape measure is making a straight line parallel to the floor. Now look down and check that number! Friends are helpful for this one. Stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart in running shoes. Measure from the very top of your inner leg to the bottom of your inner ankle. Repeat this process on your left leg and average out to achieve your most accurate inseam length. You may want to err on the longer-side—short shorts are a yes, but short pants are a no. Finding the Right Fit If your waist measures 33", you're most likely going to need a size 34 pant. This is because we have designed our pants to sit two to three inches below your natural waist. Looking for a good rule of thumb when it comes to fit? Measure your waist and add an inch. If you think you're in between sizes, ask yourself how you want the pant to fit for the activity you'll be using them for.
