TRAINING WITH PCOS HELP !!!! Hoping there is someone out there who can give me some advice. I have PCOS and have been training solid for the past year as my aim to to compete in Bikini.I was diagnosed with PCOS over 5 years ago and struggled weight wise. I had my thyroid tested which came back as 'normal'.I got into bodybuilding training over a year ago and found whilst training and clean eating I dropped weight quite quickly with the help of Chesteze which contains Ephedrine, however I have recently been sticking to my routine without the use of Chesteze and have seen my weight slowly increase.I eat a very low carb high protein diet, I train twice a day (am HIIT and pm cardio & weights).I am getting so down and frustrated as I need advice as to what will help me lean up, get stage fit and help with my diet and training.

Any advice would be much appreciated!Someone had mentioned T3's....but need to know more about these. Designer bodybuilding clothing - built to last. Try our popular Hoodie... The 'Utili-Hood' or our hard wearing Training Vests : The Future of Food Hi there,I don't have any experience or knowledge in the subject but do listen to www.fitterlondon.co.uk podcasts and they offer a plan on overcoming/managing the condition - http://store.fitterlondon.co.uk/pcos-elimination-plan-date-to-be-announced/ Their podcasts are on iTunes and worth a listen, I really like their approach and attitude. I don't have any affiliation or anything so hope I haven't broken any rules. All the best with this and good luck. I once had a client who had PCOS. I was gutted for her as she had to do twice as much work, and reap little reward so I feel for you. Eventually, I let her go as I wasn't qualified for medical conditions and felt someone else hopefully could help her better. http://www.2ndchancept.co.uk/Figure competitor training to my natural potential The scales now tell the truth Supported by Extreme Nutrition http://www.extremenutrition.co.uk/

Some limited research suggests that small amounts of green tea may help support fertility, but other studies have concluded that women who drink green tea decrease their odds of becoming pregnant.

So science is not much help here.If you do decide to drink green tea, you'll want to watch how it affects your caffeine intake, especially once you conceive. Researchers continue to study the effects of caffeine during pregnancy, and some data suggests that women who consume more than 300 milligrams of caffeine a day during pregnancy are more likely to give birth to babies who are small for their gestational age. To be safe, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and other experts recommend limiting your intake to 200 mg or less per day.The caffeine content of green tea varies depending on the brew, but an average (6-ounce) cup of green tea contains about 20 mg of caffeine. (A cup of black tea has about 40 mg and a cup of brewed coffee has about 120 mg.)If you've been trying to conceive for a year or more without success (or three to six months if you're over age 35), or if you're having irregular periods, your best bet is to see a fertility specialist. Many women undergoing fertility treatment make poor lifestyle choices that may affect treatment outcome.
