Thursday 18 May 2017 Track this event and we’ll remind you when it’s coming up. Friday 19 May 2017 Saturday 20 May 2017 19-21 Guildhall Road Northampton, Northamptonshire Monday 22 May 2017 Wednesday 24 May 2017 Friday 26 May 2017 Pyramid & Parr Hall, Cultural Quarter, Palmyra Square South Saturday 27 May 2017 Sunday 28 May 2017 Nina Nesbitt steps on stage, acoustic guitar swung loosely over her shoulder, and holds an iphone up to the crowd. She counts to three, and then records them as they scream, cheer, and wave their arms. A Scottish native, she is performing in Scotland, and as a finale plays the well known song “500 Miles”. The crowd chimes in on the second word, thrilled to sing along with her, and soon the whole theatre is chanting the words. She lets them sing and runs down to meet her audience; that is, she gives them high fives, hugs, and smiles. Her fans are overjoyed to meet her, and respond enthusiastically with cheering, photos, and high fives of their own.

Nesbitt, a guitarist and singer-songwriter from Edinburgh, Scotland, is only twenty, but she has already released a studio album, Peroxide, and multiple EPs including The Apple Tree (ranked number six of iTunes downloads in 2013), Boy, and Stay Out. Stay Out is also the name of her most well known single, which made it to number twenty-one on the UK Singles Chart. Her career is only just beginning, and her success levels are already impressively high. Listening to her music, it's not hard to see why she has so many fans. Her acoustic pop/rock is melodious, skillful, and unique, and the songs and lyrics are catchy and clever. Her fame will only grow as she produces more great hits. The venue was small and was wonderful to hear the new songs which I loved especially Manchester. Brilliant night, great support acts too. Hope she comes back here soon . Past concerts (116) See all Tuesday 06 December 2016 Thursday 13 October 2016 O2 Academy 3 Birmingham, 16-18 Horsefair, Bristol Street

Wednesday 12 October 2016 1 New Wakefield St See all past concerts (116) [Produced by Jake Gosling] I met you when I was a teen but then you were one as well And I could play a guitar just like ringing a bell Sometimes I wonder, in any other summer Could you have been my part time lover to me listening to Stevie Wonder? Under the covers where we used to lay And RE: Stacks is what the speakers played
padi hoodie I'd be on tour almost every day
hoodie marble hornets When I was home, up in my flat is where we used to stay
aek hoodie Just watching a DVD, smoking illegal weed
ohshc hoodie Getting high as two kites when we needed to breathe We used each other's air just for the people to see

And stay up all night like when we needed to sleep We go anywhere, our minds would take us And I'll say you are beautiful without your make-up And you don’t even need to worry about your weight cause We can all be loved the way that God made us And time's the only reason that we could break up Cause you would always tell me I'm away too much Distance is relative to the time that it takes To get on a plane or make a mistake, so say it again You should go, Nina Cause I ain't never coming home, Nina Oh, won't you leave me now? And I've been living on the road, Nina But then again you should know, Nina Cause that’s you and me both, Nina Oh, won't you leave me now, now? And every weekend in the winter you'd be wearing my hoodie With drawstrings pulled tight to keep your face from the cold Taking day trips to the local where we'd eat on our own Cause every day when I was away we'd only speak on the phone

Watching Blue Planet, creating new habits Acting as if we were two rabbits and then you'd vanish Back to the burrow with all the Celtics I disappear, you call me selfish I understand but I can’t help it I put my job over everything except my family and friends But you'll be in between forever so I guess we'll have to take a step back Cause mixing business and feelings will only lead to complications And I'm not saying we should be taking a break Just re-evaluate quick before we make a mistake and it’s too late So we can either deal with the pain or wait to get on a plane But in a day we'll have to say it again Love will come and love will go But you can't make it on your own Sing that song, go Oh won't you leave me now? People grow and fall apart But you can't mend your broken heart Take it back, go (Love will come and Love will go) (But you can make it on your own) (Sing that song, go oh won't you leave me now)

(People grow and fall apart) (But you can mend your broken heart) (Take it back, go oh won't you leave me now) During his Music News interview, Ed said: [Nina’s] about my ex-girlfriend [Nina Nesbitt], we dated for a year. It was written on tour with Snow Patrol in another hotel room. It was based on a sample from a Wretch 32 song called “Welcome To My World” from his third mixtape, Retrospective. I sampled the piano and made a song out of it. When you’re a musician and you date someone, there’s always an in-between. Like, you put your family and your friends first, always, and then your career second. But when you date someone, they kind of fall in between the family and friends and career, and you don’t really know whether they’re more important than the career or whether they’re more important than family – so this is a song about that. You just need to find someone that’s OK with it, and I think by the time you have kids, that’s when your family comes first, and that’s where the woman comes, because she’s your family now.
