(from Rise of the Guardians) - YouTube This will be great for when I make my hoodie.Hoodie Tutorial a-nouki / / ©2012-2017 a-nouki There are probably some typos in there...sorry if this ain't what you were looking for! (ノД`)・゜・I tried my best to explain the different techniques you can use to make a cool looking Jack Frost hoodie. Also, sorry for the enthusiastic tone of this tut, I have no idea why I did it...The reason why I used white instead of silver is because I thought that with the ammount of detail I wanted to add, silver would be too much. If you were to prefer the frosted effect to be all in silver, then by all means replace the white fabric paint & pewter acrylic by a single silver fabric paint (:Cosplay Jack FrostFrost CosplaysJack Frost CostumeJack Frost GifSexy Jack FrostJack Frost FunnyRotg JackfrostPixar CosplayCosplay I'VeForwardpockyaddict: “ guardianoffrost: “ wishes-and-daydream-believer: “ thegreatbigfour: “ *whispers* why…

Jack Frost Staff Tutorial Lyte-tech / / / ©2013-2017 Lyte-techFINAL EDIT 5/9/14: Version 2 now available here! fav.me/d7hqmlg New and improved! made using PVC pipe and duct tape as a base. EDIT 2/19/14: Wow guys, even at this point I still can't believe how popular this tutorial is. I never even imagined haha. Anywho if you like this tutorial and have used it, you can show your support by liking me on Facebook! I'm fairly new there, so I'd appreicate any support I can get. Also, I will be remaking this staff for Anime Boston 2014 I think, though I'm going to go with a pvc/ heat gun method this time around so I can make it portable.
desmond miles hoodie and bagIf you'd like to try this method, just form the staff as need be with the heat gun used for the curves, and follow the rest of the steps!

Plaster sticks and dries nicely on anything which makes it awesome. <3 EDIT AGAIN 4/17/13: OMG. How is this still this popular? xD Anyways, making it portable didnt work. Plus, I realized within the last month that I made the hook waaay to big. Really wish i cut the pieces shorter...If I remake it in a method I like better, I'll seriously be considering selling this one. So keep your eyes peeled. EDIT1/28/13: When I go home. I think I'm going to try to find a way to make this portable. I love it as is, but.

Okay, so this is my first tutorial I've ever made so I apologize if its not very good. I did my best to explain all my steps in detail and make it look nice. Let me know if words are too small or are spelled wrong or anything.Just a warning with my version of the staff/shepard's hook though, it does have some weight to it since it is solid wood. (Honestly though, it feels really solid. It's not breaking anytime soon.)It seems that a lot of people have gone with pvc piping for theirs; but I felt like I wasn't going to be able to do what I needed to do with that.
olga kay hoodieWorking with wood, plaster strips, and gorilla tape to make the actual structure was just my initial idea, so I went with that; and I am very happy I did. Came out just as I imagined it would, which is just such an awesome feeling. Only problem is that its about 6ft tall due to my 5'10" height, FFFFF. Travel WILL be difficult. @__@Just some general guidelines for if you use this tutorial:-PLEASE credit me.

That should be pretty straightforward. :/-Fave the tutorial.-And last but not least, please share your finished creations with me! I'd love to see!I hope this helps people. Sweater fabric was more expensive than I expected. -White Sweater fabric-White Knit-2 Metal rivets-String-Elastic-thread-Navy Blue Rit dye-Fabric Glue-Silver Glitter-Blue Glitter Roughly $40 of materials. >.>PATTERN: I based the original pattern from my own sweaters that I wear around the house. The hoodie is longer so it will drape properly over my bum. The chest has these "T" stitchings in them. To do that, I just marked them with pins and cut it, then sewed it back together. You can't see to well here, but I have it on the back too. Note: the two corners come a lot closer in the back.

If you look at reference images of him, you'll see this. The hood is one large piece. There is no seam at the top of the head, but there is in the rear. The seam at the shoulder is very round. I had to adjust that several times to get the right curve. The shape of the sleeves is close at the top and puffs out a bit past the elbow. That's one unique thing about the whole silhouette I noticed.DYE: Navy Blue Rit Dye should do the trick. Just make sure your stitching isn't freaking polymer-mixed. It has to be cotton. I have to go back still and re-do the stupid hem. >_< I dyed this stupid sweater 3 freaking times. The first two times it came out blue, but way too light. I went back a third time and got navy blue. That did the trick. When you do this, make sure to wash out the fabric until the water runs clear! You don't want your skin to turn blue when you finally wear it. I call it frosting. Basically, it's glitter and glue. Lots and lots of it. I used "Aleene's Permanent Fabric Glue" in the tipped bottle and super tiny silver glitter.
