Show your love for the Occult research club off in style!American singer-rapper Jay Park was accused of cultural appropriation by Samuel Swanson, co-owner and director of an Itaewon club called Cakeshop. Koreaboo reported Swanson appeared in a documentary about Seoul's underground music scene where he said Jay Park previously "jumped on a Boiler Room" of Cakeshop. The co-owner of the Itaewon club added, "He's never played in Cakeshop, he's never come. He's totally trying to appropriate things that someone else has created and use it for its own benefit." Swanson even said he does not like K-Pop, cursing the Korean music industry. On the other hand, Jay Park posted a screenshot of Swanson in the video and said he has been to Cakeshop several times as contrary to what the co-owner's statement as per Allkpop. "First off I've gone there numerous times to help my homies out cause they asked me for a favor or just wanted me to perform spontaneously," Jay Park said, mentioning Dumbfounded and Hoody.
He added there was a certain Jenny from Cakeshop who asked Ugly Duck and him to perform during her set, which was graced by Jay Park. He also addressed Swanson's claim that Jay Park is bad for the industry, stating that he has worked hard to get where he is right now. "I've put in work for this culture and for people in this culture all over the world starting from B-boys to DJs to rappers and ect. I get saluted by the OGs and the up and coming youth from all over the world you think I give a [explicit] about Cakeshop?" On the other hand, Hoody shared her own experience in Cakeshop which made her stop visiting the Itaewon club. She said a colleague was involved in an incident that took place in the same place. Although Hoody was being vague on her post, it seems like the vocalist was referring to Swanson when she talked about a rude person her colleague has encountered in Cakeshop. "He did not even apologize to the victim for doing something that is clearly wrong, and yet he is saying strange things in that video while trapped in his own world.
I am so disappointed. All the good memories and respect I had toward Cakeshop is now all gone," Hoody ended her post.$Product Name: High School DxD DX.2 Limited Edition w/ Blu-raySeries High School DxDPublisher: KadokawaPublication Month: December 2015Book Size: B6Number of Pages: 295Bonus: Blu-ray of unaired TV anime episode (approx. 24 minutes) The action-oriented harem series High School DxD follows Kuoh Academy student Issei Hyodo, a girl-obsessed junior who finds himself surrounded by angels, fallen angels, and devils for classmates!
