I hope you are all having a great week and may this post find of each of you in good health and spirits. Today's post is about one of our most favorite things to do whenever we are near an ocean...and that is kicking it on the beach! We have spent this past week in Santa Monica for the Rebecca Minkoff and TommyxGigi shows and the number one thing the boys have wanted to do? Beach and more beach! It's funny the weather here this week has actually been mostly overcast and somewhat gloomy by California standards, but that hasn't mattered one bit to the boys, rain or shine, sunny or cloudy, they want to kick off their shoes and play in the sand! Santa Monica beach is pretty awesome because there are a bunch of things you can do while on at the beach. They have this area of swings, poles, rings, and beams that is great for working out or if you are like us, great for playing around on with the dudes! The boys chased the waves, we chased the boys, they built sand "mountains' and then proceeded to smash them over and over with their feet, and we had races in the sand!

All in all, it was a wonderful day! Even with the weather being a little gloomy, the beach was still a highlight for us! There is something about the ocean vibe that is sent out that simply make me want to smile more and live better and soak in more. Does anyone else feel that way? Like the ocean is sort of magic? Anyhow, I love it! My answer...a resounding and emphatic NO! Haha for reals, I love cardigans so much and they are one of favorite pieces to wear, no matter what season we are in. Let's talk about a few of the reasons as to why I love cardigans so much #1 -They are a great piece to wear in any season! Think about it, a cardigan can be worn in the winter, summer, spring, or fall. Sure, there are different cardigans for different seasons, obviously this one I am wearing below is more a of a thicker and cozy type of fit and style, and so it would work best for the winter, early spring, fall, and not so much summer. But then you have the lighter and thin cardigans that are perfect for summer nights and work in the spring and early fall as well. I love that they are piece that can be worn all year long and that there are so many different types and varieties that are made for each season. #2- Cardigans pair so easily! What do I mean by that? Well, whether you are wearing a dress (like I am below) or jeans and a tee, or casual leggings or sweats, there is a cardigan out there that would pair nicely with your particular outfit for that day.
