An existing user of two of Kornit’s Breeze machines, this new addition means that throughput rates can now be augmented with the added benefit of working with a wider variety of garments and apparel. All solutions have been supplied by Adelco Screen Process Ltd, long-established in the screen-printing, drying and digital textile printing market segment. , Nick Davis and Phil Walker started their original textile printing business seven years ago to concentrate on the direct-to-garment market. After investigating the capabilities of all machines available, they chose to invest in two Kornit Breeze systems.
Having selected Kornit Digital’s technology and favoured the NeoPigment process, the company worked with UK supplier Adelco who looked after all aspects of the purchase, training, supplies and service. has resulted in the need for an additional high productivity direct-to-garment printer and the addition of the Kornit Digital Storm Hexa now means that Davis and Walker can concentrate on fulfilment printing. This further investment into a direct-to-garment system is ideal for heavy-duty production cycles with a variety of apparel and garment products, including items such hoodies and aprons as well as T-shirts. Again, after researching the market thoroughly, Davis and Walker found it an easy decision to remain with Kornit and their company is the first in the UK to install this new system which was launched at FESPA Digital 2016. “The Kornit Storm Hexa gives us the heavy duty production levels we need with our new business model and adds the benefit of a wide gamut with its CMYK plus red and green colour palette,” states Davis.
“Our two Kornit Breeze printers have been ideal for our existing direct-to-customer market but, with the move to higher mixed volumes with our new trade service, we needed an industrial-strength platform for longer, versatile runs of personalised and versioned products.”vic fuentes hoodie “It’s also vital that we don’t want to be restricted by only printing to cottons and mixes,” adds Walker. cheap north face oso hoodie“Kornit’s NeoPigment process frees us up to work with virtually all textiles without requiring specialist pre- and post-treatment routines.”gap sweatshirt price in philippines Both Davis and Walker have always enjoyed working with Adelco Screen Process whose knowledge of the textile industry migrated into the digital production segment more than twelve years ago. pewdiepie hoodie uk
“Kornit’s wet-on-wet and in-line pre-treatment processes are key for production – there are few restrictions to which textiles Kornit can print on,” comments Adelco’s Luke Smith. with (from left) Nick Davis, Phil Walker and Luke Smith. “At Adelco we have the advantage of generations of experience in the textile printing market and this enables us to help businesses make the transition and expand their digital production. The fact that Nick and Phil returned to Adelco for their latest investment demonstrates how we work closely with our customers to make sure that they invest in the best solutions for their needs.” The Kornit Digital Storm Hexa has 16 print-heads and two additional colours to provide full support for CMYK, red, green and white. It is ideal for producers of colour-conscious applications that need to match specific brand and corporate requirements, and can output up to 170 garments per hour in high productivity mode. Its recirculation system reduces ink consumption, and optimises reliability while double the numbers of nozzles increases throughput by up to 40% when compared with its predecessors.
’s move to new premises, the Storm Hexa is now up and running, producing custom-printed products with no minimum order number. Examples include workwear, jumpers, aprons and speciality apparel as well as more typical T-shirts, hoodies and sweat-shirts – none of which could be accomplished quickly and easily without the assistance of Kornit Digital’s print technology and pigmented ink system. At Simms, sun protection is a critical component of our sportswear offering.  Through a combination of fabric construction, design and finish, we offer a wide range of clothing that features a minimum UPF of 30 (very good) up to UPF of 50 (excellent).  UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much of the sun's UV radiation is absorbed.  A fabric with a rating of 50 will allow only 1/50th of the sun's UV rays to pass through.  This means the fabric will reduce your skin's UV radiation exposure significantly.  All of our UPF finishes last the life of the garment, an industry standard of 30 washings. Extremely uncomfortable when you try and zip it all the way closed. Out last night walking the dog with a stiff wind and could not zip it closed to protect my face. Wish I coulda kept it! Looked to be a great jacket when I pulled it out of the box. The Large I ordered fit like a solid XL. Had to send it back. Try one on if you can. I love winter fishing in the mountains of North Carolina and Easr Tennesee. However, it can get really uncomfortably cold. This top has made those days more than bearable. I'm warm and snug with this jacket. I agree with one of the other reviewers, "if you don't have one, get one." Great product at a great price! If you don't have one, you should! Great Jacket, and way above my expectations for the price point. I guide full time in NZ, and it's my go to jacket - functional and hard wearing in the outdoors, but still smart enough when picking up clients from the lodge. Looks good, fits wrong Nate from Winchester 7/6/2015 I've put this jacket (size Medium, camo) through the ringer over the last 8 months, using it for fresh water fly fishing in VT, saltwater fishing off Nags Head, duck hunting, deer hunting, doing yard work on cool days here in MA, and fending off dinnertime debris from a toddler.
The jacket is only moderately warm - I have several other soft shells that provide more warmth. This one would be better if the hood were more useful, but it is a few inches too short. I'm 6' tall, 185 lbs with a 41" chest, and I find this jacket fits small (I took wear a size Medium in almost everything). It looks good at this size, the chest is right, but the arms and the hood are too short. Note: I tried on the L version of this jacket, and I looked like an adult wearing a skateboarder's jacket; the style didn't fit a 38 year old fly fisherman - it was too big. I know that Simms tried to make this jacket a bit more modern while allowing for range of motion for casting, but it could use some improvement. I would call it a glorified $100 sweatshirt, and if you view it that way, it is fine. But at this price point, the trim shouldn't have pilling on the material, the Simms lettering should have stayed on (mine came off on Day 2), and the sleeves and hood should fit better.
[Response from Simms Customer Care Team] - Thanks for the review Nate. so they can evaluate the pilling and logo issue. Neither of those issues should happen. In terms of sizing you may be right in between our medium and large. Normally we would recommend someone with your dimensions to purchase a large. I am 5' 10", 170 lbs and 41" chest and the medium fits me perfect. Good but could be better I'm quite happy with my hoody my only criticism would be to have better designed pockets when you sit down with the hoody unzipped things can fall out of the pockets rather easily I would recommend to have the pockets have the same quality ykk zipper which you use to zip it up other than that does as advertised [Response from Simms Customer Care Team] - Thanks Spoonman. We'll pass your suggestion on to the product team. Simms Letters feel off first time I wore it. Sucks to buy high end clothing and that happen. Got a buff also that the steching came off first time I used it.
