ULTRA THIN ECHO TEMPLES The Echo temples were developed with one thing in mind: comfort. For too long, people have complained about the painful pressure points created from the temple arms of their eyewear being drilled into the side of their heads from their ear protection. The solution is simple; durable, yet incredibly thin, stainless steel temple arms that can be bent to any head shape. Smith’s Echo temples alleviate the pain issue entirely, while also creating a perfect seal between your head and your ear protection. © 2017 ALTERNATIVE PRESSAt The Disco, Echosmith, more to be featured on ‘Guitar Hero Live’ A whole new set of songs have just been announced for Guitar Hero Live, including popular bands Blink-182, Panic! For their second restaurant, chefs Jeremiah Stone and Fabian von Hauske are staying close to home — but thinking outside the prix fixe menu box.

The young duo has opened Wildair two doors down from their critically acclaimed hot spot Contra on Orchard Street in the Lower East Side. “The ambition catches up to you. Contra is a little more elevated now than it used to be,” explains von Hauske, who takes the reins as pastry chef at both restaurants.

The resulting dishes — snacks really, such as artfully plated radishes with seaweed butter and fried squid paired with squid ink aioli — still convey the integrity presented at Contra, but are made to be enjoyed at a more leisurely pace alongside the list of natural and biodynamic wines curated by Jorge Riera. The 45-seat space is compact and boxy, with communal high-top tables and cross-stitched artwork on the ceiling that’s meant to convey ivy. The all-glass windows in front open onto the street, and the no-reservation policy is intended to lure in passersby and diners turned away due to lack of space at Contra. And as for the restaurant’s whimsical name, the chefs tapped a Lower East Side legacy — Wildair was the name of a thoroughbred racehorse owned by the 18th-century politician James De Lancey. Only time will tell if the duo’s stable of restaurants is as long-lasting. 142 Orchard Street, New York Open 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. Wed-SunNo events currently on sale.

Shawn Mendes, Hoodie Allen, Ryn Weaver, Jacquie Lee, Bea Miller and MisterWives all lit up the stage at L.A.'s famed House of Blues each showing off their unique style and sound that instantly won over the crowd. Each artist, who was introduced by the night's host, Echosmith's Sydney Sierota, and Jake Miller, who made a special appearance, took the stage to showcase their talents, performing a set of songs each to an audience that was mixed with devoted fans and those there to learn and fall in love with some brand-new talent. So now that we've found our obsessions in these emerging artists, we wanted to find out what they're obsessed with.

So, to get to know them a little bit better we asked them to share one thing they just can't live it out. Here's what they had to say, in GIFs! Check 'em out below, and watch tons of videos of Hoodie Allen, Shawn Mendes, Bea Miller, MisterWives and Jacquie Lee performing live at House Of Blues Sunset. Jacquie Lee Can't Put Down Her Video Games Current Obsession: "My obsession right now is "Nazi Zombies" because I get to shoot zombies. I've gotten to round 57, I mean it's not that good, but it's something. I play every other night when I have time." Bea Miller Satisfies Her Cravings Current Obsession: "I'm obsessed with eating. I think it's pretty clear -- isn't everyone? I mean, for real, come on, guys. I always feel really bad when I see women counting their calories! Don't cut the things that you enjoy out of your life.' I just love food, and I'm not the type of person who can sit down and have three meals a day because I have a small stomach so I eat really small amounts every 20 minutes...
