Very convenient and necessary for living on the water. The hose is long enough to reach the opposite end of the boat from the dock. Like stated needs larger wheels. Otherwise very handy and sturdy. Left on rear rack on Rv, it's typically higher than most things that are being filled. With about a dozen uses thus far, I'm very satisfied with this unit. It is solid, and the handle provides good control over the flow rate of the gas. As noted in the directions, it MUST SIT HIGHER THAN THE DESTINATION - it is gravity-fed. (The handle will act as a pump for non-gravity-feed use, but it pumps a very small amount of gas per squeeze - fine for a small lawnmower or chainsaw or such - not so much for a larger tank that holds gallons.) One complaint is that the pump pumps on the release of the squeeze, so there is always gas left in the handle after the last squeeze (somehow, no matter how much you shake it, move it all around, etc - some remaining gas *always* comes out once you're convinced its off, clear and empty), which invariably leaks out onto whatever the pump handle is on or over

, leasing to mess and stink. (Floor, ground, boat, etc). The instructions to disconnect the hose, remove the vent cap, elevate the hose and drain any remaining fuel back into the can are simply impractical. I've taken to keeping a sock over the handle spout, to catch this residual fuel, along with all kinds of ritualistic shaking and wiggling of the handle to get as much of the residual gas out of the handle and into the destination tank as possible. (There is *always* more - its maddening!) Only other item of note - no fault of the unit - is that this sucker is heavy when full. Trying to lift it single-handedly is a challenge when full, especially if trying to get up/down or in/out of something like a truck, trunk, stairs, etc. (14 gals * 6.3 lbs/gal = 88 lbs of gas, plus the weight of the unit, which is close to 20 lbs) The instructions state not to lift it by oneself, but like the hose/handle-draining recommendation, this isn't real practical. Overall, this was a good buy, and I am satisfied with it.

It is much better than dealing with multiple smaller cans (which flow gas much more slowly, provide no real control over the flow rate, and must be held by hand above the destination tank). I hope that the hose and handle hold up well over time. The tank itself should last about forever! Might be my own fault, but the "pump" only works if the container is higher than where you want to fuel to flow. This is difficult if you put 14 gallons of gas in it. It will weigh around 100 pounds. Didn't realize this when I bought it.
