High to low rating Low to high rating The material, size & style all works great for me with ONE exception. The side slits by the waistband are really ridiculous. The slits cause the fabric to "wing out" like flaps & it looks really odd to me. I guess if you prefer not to zip it up & leave it loose it may look better, but if you zip it at all, it is not flattering. I like all the other aspects, so I will most likely sew those flaps together so they don't look out of place. Danskin has changed this hoodie style a bit from others in the past, but is the same quality & fit for the most part. It's a great lightweight hoodie, very versatile & perfect for casual layering. If you prefer a more form-fitting shape, order a size down, or if you like a loose, baggy look, order a size up. I prefer a less baggy look since I prefer this over a light cami or scoop-neck t-shirt. Either way, it's a great hoodie but keep in mind you may need to sew those waist flaps or you will look like a bird!

I want to preface this by saying, I am a California girl and all you need out here (most of the year) is a lightweight hoodie. I purchased a Danskin hoodie like this one (in-store) a few years ago. I really loved it! The pocket detail is curved now, not straight down (like its predecessor) and the sleeves are longer than I expected so I will have to fold them in. For the price, it will have to do. I wanted a light weight black hoodie that I could use for vacation. I was going to a place that had weather that could be somewhat unpredictable, plus I thought it would be comfortable for wearing on the airplane. I read the reviews and decided to order a 2XL. I usually wear a large/XL, and like things loose and comfy. I am glad I listened to the other reviews since the 2XL, as advised in the reviews, fit more like a L/XL.

Overall I am very happy with my purchase and got great use out of this hoodie. I had it sent to my home and it came very quickly and in time for vacation without worry. I may order other colors if available since this light weight hoodie would be appropriate for all seasons. I bought this hoodie in a size medium which is the normal size I buy for tops. I was interested in a somewhat fitted look without it being too tight and this hoodie fit the bill. If you prefer a baggier fit, I would suggest going one size up from your usual top size. The material is like heavy t-shirt material, so I think it will be perfect on a cool summer evening. I don't mind the bottom side slits as they prevent the hoodie from having that classic bulging sweatshirt look at the bottom when zipped up. This jacket has surprisingly good fit...not hourglass, but not boxy either. It also has a longer length in tune with current styling. I have three of these because of the light weight, the fit, and the length.

I more often wear size medium, but need a large in this jacket (same sizing as Danskin in the stores). This is a toss-up because there are brands where I wear a small. I have now learned that there are more styles available online than in any given store. This jacket is comfortable, fits well and a great price. Ordered another one the same day I received it. Just wish they had it in some bright colors as well as basic white. Nice weight, fit and style. Not for warmth, but great for layering, the gym, around the house as an added layer and dress down at work. Love the small slits on the sides for a great fit, without being snug at the waist/hip. Unlike all cotton zip up hoodies, this one retains it's shape and doesn't look frumpy. Colorful options, so you will want to own more than just one. Very soft (as in very), and comes down to the hip area. I would buy a size larger if you want to layer something under it and use it as a jacket, which you could during the fall. When I wore this for the first time I got so many compliments on this hoodie. I got the Gray and Coral one and it is so comfy! I love the way it fits and looks!
