As in prior years, we anticipate approximately 50% of the entrants ages U12 and older will be Premier or Division I teams, although the Extreme Cup takes pride in providing competitive play for lower level teams as well. In addition to hosting top competitive teams in Platinum and Gold Divisions, last year's tournament also offered play in Silver, Bronze and even Copper Divisions in some age groups. 

Each team is guaranteed at least three games in pool play. Park City's fields are widely acknowledged as the best in the State; the U.S. Men’s National Team and ReAL Salt Lake have even trained on some of these same fields. Games outside of Park City will be held in the Heber Valley and Oakley; these venues are no more than 20 minutes from Park City. Live music is everywhere with free concerts offered frequently throughout the town and Deer Valley’s outdoor amphitheater attracting big names ranging from the B52's to the Utah Symphony performing the 1812 Overture. While the Extreme Cup is traditionally scheduled to coincide with the long standing Kimball Arts Festival, for 2016 the tournament will instead occur alongside the Tour of Utah bicycle race. This international event, hosting teams fresh from the Tour de France, finishes mid-day Sunday with an exciting sprint through Park City's Historic Old Town. At the other end of town, the Flying Ace All-Stars are sure to entertain with their aerial acrobatic show at the Olympic Park Splash Pool, while there is plenty of shopping, grazing and dining available for everyone throughout the County. Product was successfully added to your comparison list. After graduation, involvement with Satori Camp doesn’t have to stop; former campers can stay involved with the camp through our CIT program. CITs are instrumental in the smooth running of the camp as they provide assistance to counselors, instructors and other camp staff by performing a wide variety of administrative and leadership tasks.

This sort of involvement isn’t without its rewards; not only is this an excellent leadership experience that will serve participants well, but room and board fees are also waived for CITs. Not everyone can apply to be a CIT, however. To qualify, you must have at least two years of experience as a camper at Satori Camp, you must be at least 18 years old, and you must have spent at least one summer away from the camp since your last year as a camper. Also, successful applicants must be able to arrive a day early to assist in the set-up of the camp. All interested applicants should write a one-page essay detailing what strengths they would bring to the camp as well as what suggestions they have for improving the overall camp experience for others. Applications will be ranked in order received and by the quality and thoughtfulness of the essay. Application deadline is June 24, 2016 (although due to a limited number of positions, the earlier, the better). The transition from camper to counselor is often a challenging one.
