It appears you're refering to the stereotypical cholo/chola. Having grown up in a town that is 80% Hispanic and has a relatively large amount of gang activity, I can say that this is not an uncommon thing to see, female or male. However, it is just as common to see every button fastened from top to bottom. Tshirts (the type depends on gang affiliation, but is almost always oversized), wife beaters, tank tops, and hoodies are also just as common.The picture above appears to be intended as a joke, but is relatively accurate. I do notice a few differences from what I am used to. They aren't wearing any belts (often webbed with an initialed buckle, or riveted), they are wearing the wrong type of pants (usually ironed Dickies or Levis), and they aren't wearing the right type of shoes (I’ve occasionally seen Van’s, but more often I see Cortez’s, Tim’s, Converse, or house slippers).This image is closer to what I am accustomed to seeing. from St Pete Beach, FL Great quality, one size smaller is better for most travelers. 32 is too big. Just completed our second long and multiple airline legs trip with this bag. I was concerned about the exposed swivel wheels being torn off but so far (6 flights) it has been fine. There are some scuff marks from the conveyor belts but the flexible material is handling as advertised. The bag is light & easy to maneuver though this one is large and when packed it is heavy. The downside to large bags. (The bag itself is very light). I have been using another hardside Rimowa bag for 6 years, professionally and this is just as good. Wouldn't hesitate to get another when the needs dictate. I was very happy with this bag for two years, until the corners cracked. I don't travel much, so I think that the great looks don't justify the price. I'm going to invest in Rimowa Limbo with metal corners, and hope for the best.
