Pink tank - Wal-Mart Pink top - Lane Bryant (On sale right now!!) Flip Flops - Okabashi  (Super comfortable, great support) And right now (and for the next 3 days), pay $15 for $30 value on Okabashi through Eversave.  It buys you a couple pair of flip flops.  I bought the Eversave last time and bought a pair for myself and for Mr. Diva too. They are made from recycled materials and are made in the USA.  I wore them all day and my feet didn't hurt like they normally do when I walk a lot in flip flops.
It was a successful day.  We even managed to stop by the In-Laws' house for dinner.  What's your favorite errand-running garment? If you don't know about Birchbox, it is a monthly subscription service.  For $10 a month, you get a box of 4 to 5 high-end skincare, makeup, and/or hair care products toSometimes there are also "lifestyle samples", like an organic granola bar, tea, etc.  Some products are even full-size! is a really fun thing to get in the mail!  Plus, I am a product junkie and love being able to try all these different products.  Check out the website for more information! This month's theme was Natural Wonders. Atelier Cologne Orange Sanguine Cologne Absolue.  This smells SO GOOD.  It is very orangy, like your sniffing an orange peel.  Marula The Leakey Collection Omega Rich Pure Marula Oil.  Have yet to use this.  I don't really like using oils on my face because I already have super oily skin, but it claims to regulate skin's moisture levels.
It is said to protect from free radicals, reduce wrinkles, firm your skin, soothe redness and fade scars.  So I will definitely give it a try. Weleda Pomegranate Firming Night Cream. I have been using this the past week and love it so far.  It smells great and doesn't feel too heavy.  I like that it has natural ingredients too. Zoya TRUE Spring Collection in Farah.  I don't have a neutral color like this, so I am really happy I got this one.  I look forward to wearing it in the ways shown below. Yes To Blueberries Brightening Facial Towelettes.  They smell like lemony muffins and clean my face nicely.  towelette itself is thick and doesn't tear as I use it. via Diva on Pinterest I am now linking up with Tara and Katie in the Birchbox Link Up. Just an FYI post.  I added a couple of ways to follow the blog: In the column on the right, you can scroll down and follow via Networked Blogs, or Follow my blog with Bloglovin. I know I usually mention how dreary the weather has been.
Easter weekend and this past weekend have been beautifully sunny though!  The day before Easter, Mr. Diva and I had a full day of errand running. I was really excited to wear my new Old Navy dress and do some colorful accessorizing!  I really loved this outfit and color combo.  I can't wait to wear it again. Dress - Old Navy Cardigan in Rouge Red - Lane Bryant Sandals - Avenue (from Spring 2011) Necklace - World Market (Similar) Lipstain in Raspberry Crush - Stila Nail Polish in Woodstock - Urban Decay (not online) Here are a few outtakes from our photo shoot fun: What do you wear to brighten your mood? Use the tape to cover the skin around your fingernails.  I found it easier to do one piece on each side of the finger and then a bottom piece to hold those down. Start adding drops of nail polish to the water.  Each drop will spread out into a circle.  When you add alternating colors, it creates rings.  I ended up doing 3 drops per ring because both of my color choices had a bit of sheerness to them.
(I used a gold sparkly OPI color and a blue Orly color) Use a toothpick (not a Q-tip) to pull lines through the polish to create a design.  This is completely up to you.  I did this sort of seashell design.  But you can start in the middle and go out or make separate swirls or "S" curves.  Your imagination is the limit really. Dip your finger in, nail first, onto the part of the design you want on your nail.  Hold your finger in the water while you use a Q-tip to clean up the excess polish around your nail.  Pull your nail out of the water and check out your design!  The polish is still wet, so keep that in mind.  It dries a lot faster than painting your nails regularly, but the tape is going to get in your way a little bit. Use a Q-tip to clean up any polish residue floating on top of the water.  If your polish doesn't spread out in a circle and create those rings, this extra residue is the problem. Repeat the process for each finger.  I tried doing two or three nails at a time, but I kept having to redo ones that didn't get proper placement.
It is way easier to do one nail at a time.  Once you get started, it goes by pretty fast.  I was probably done with both hands in 45 minutes. Clean up any stray polish from your hands with some polish remover on a Q-tip or cotton pad. You can watch someone's helpful Video Tutorial on YouTube.  It is what I watched to get started. Oh, this year is just flying by!  I can't believe Easter came around so swiftly.  We are still having pretty dreary weather here in the Pacific Northwest; BUT the weather man was WRONG Easter weekend! My sister-in-law's family invited us over for an Easter brunch.  was such a lovely day visiting with everyone and playing with the I was so excited about the sun being out, I painted my toenails and broke out the capri pants.  Kiyonna sent me this beautiful Abby Twist Front Top in leopard pint.  I couldn't wait to wear it in the fabulous weather. The Abby top is a similar style to the lovely blue Trina Top I wore last month.
It has a great deep V-neck, empire ruching, and flows over my curves while hiding the parts I want to hide. The flutter sleeves are fantastic and a wonderful length for me.  Where the Trina top was a jersey-knit, the Abby is a polyester/spandex blend.  The material has a little bit of stretch to it which lends it that extra comfy-ness no matter your size. I love the print too.  It doesn't seem too loud or over-the-top and looks really classy and rich in person.  If you are a bit print shy, this may be a great way to step out of your comfort zone. In addition to looking so fabulous in person, the color is gorgeous too.  It is a bit more burgundy in person than it photographs - still a wonderful color. The Abby Twist Front Top also comes in black, purple, a deep blue, and a teal/turquoise.  This top is GREAT for spring and summer and any occasion. Disclosure: I am a member of the Kiyonna Blogger Brigade and they provided me with the top in this post.  All opinions on the item are my Last year, my husband informed me about the Stumptown Comics Fest in Portland, Oregon.  He really wanted to go and invited me to come along.  (Actually, he said it was time I "go full nerd" and attend some kind of comic-related event.)  Being the loving wife that I am, I decided to go and show support.  He has always gone to things that interest me, so I felt like I owed him one. I'm not much into comics or graphic novels, though I have gotten into a few since dating Mr. Diva a whopping (almost) SEVEN years ago.
I love nerds and geeks and that whole culture and really wanted to learn more about it.  I guess I can relate to being super passionate about something you love and are a fan of in that way.  I LOVE boybands, especially NKOTB. I get the passion is what I am saying. So we went last year.  I really didn't know what to expect.  I thought it would be strictly comics and I'd feel really out of place and just stand there holding Mr. Diva's hoodie while he rifled through awesome comics. But it was much more than that.  Now there were a ton of comics and comic artists, don't get me wrong.  But these people ARE artists.  The comics varied in topic from your usual zombies, super heros, and scantily-clad, large-breasted women to cute Corgis and a Battle Pug! We had a great time checking out all the art and found some fun pieces for our house and Mr. Diva's office at work. So if you live in the area and this sounds like something you or a loved one would enjoy, I highly recommend it.
