bjd hoodie pattern

Show All Items The original pattern for this hat was made back when Adventure Time was a short featured on Nickelodeon, and then after it failed to do anything on that network, it made it's way to the internet. This hat is much more like the original "pilot" hat, where it's less of a tube with a face hole. This one has straps that you can tie underneath your chin. The design for this hat came from my good friend Nate Little. However, he has been caught up in graduate school, and has had seemingly no time to write an Instructable. After months of kindly hinting and nudging him to write one about his hat design, and him never doing so, I simply asked if I could. Obviously, he said yes, and even helped me out. He even let me use his camera while I'm away at college. When printing them, be sure to not "shrink to fit" or anything like that.
The images are sized to 8.5 x11, and need to print in that size or else your pattern will be too small. Some assembly is required with the pattern. The "Main Flap" piece is divided up into 5 or 6 different pieces and they need to be taped together, but I've made it so there are letters to help you align the pieces. Once you get the pattern assembled, and ready to go you're going to need to gather some materials. organika hoodie1 Yard of Fleece (White or off-White) Appropriate colored thread Scissors Pins Sewing machine (optional) Sewing needle (for the ears, or the whole thing) Fabric scissors Note: Fionna Variation The only difference between Finn's hat and Fionna's hat is the length of the ears. lady sovereign hoodiesIf you want to make her hat, simply make the ears longer. bape hoodie cost
I didn't include this in the pattern.Note: Sizing Issues There have been a few users who have found the final product to be much too large. So if you find yourself having a particularly small head, or perhaps this will be made for a child. It's a good idea to print the pattern at a reduced size. Testing the printed pattern by assembling it and wrapping it around your head is always a good way to make sure it the final product will fit. hoodie allen the pageantNote: Seam Allowance The seam allowance is very forgiving throughout this project, and mine ranged anywhere from 1/4" - 1/2" “First doll” story and a bit about Resinsoul (aka my opinion on those “cheap garbage” dolls) (apologies for any confusion between Bobobie and Resinsoul sculpts, etc… I’m kind of lumping them together here because they are sister companies and so similar from what I know of them.)When I was first getting into the hobby my first doll could have been a light tan Resinsoul An, solely because it was cheap and in stock at DDE.
I ended up going for a floating ¼ DZ head instead, which was also a bit of an impulse buy. I planned to get an AOD boy body for her (cheap, and I saw that hybrid somewhere and thought it looked okay), but ended up getting surprised on my birthday with enough money to buy the double jointed DZ girl body which I knew would match and I liked, and I went with it. Having the head was enough to coo over (yes, like one would coo over a baby- she was so precious!) and tide me over until the body, and once I got the body- wow! The posing was amazing! I loved her as a head and having the posable body made my transition into being a bjd owner all the sweeter. I think a Resinsoul body would not have had the same effect, since I’ve read a lot since about how they take work to get the way you want, such as the stringing being off on arrival and such. What you get with the price, at least that’s how it was explained to me. I would probably have been disappointed, or at least not nearly as amazed as I was with the Dollzone, who is still my favorite to this day.
Maybe Resinsoul is a good first doll for someone who wants to jump right into the hands on aspect of the hobby, but it wouldn’t have worked for me. However, it’s 4(5?) years later and I’m looking at Bobobie Sprite and thinking, I want to get this doll so I can cherish her to bits. I am aware that there may be work to get her the way I’d want, but at this point I feel I’m ready for it and need a project I can devote time to rather than just buying bjd clothes and wigs online. I’m more ready to put the work in than I was when I first joined the hobby, when I was terrified of just the idea of restringing. Though, I might be able to believe that if I had known about The Junky Spot (was it around back then?) when I was first getting into dolls, then I might have fallen in love with her anyway- or maybe I would have impulse bought her for the convenience like I almost did with the An. I guess I’ll never know, but I’m glad that the doll I did buy was so perfect for me.I’m also reading about how Resinsoul has amazing customer service and turnaround, how they can do custom colors and parts combinations, how they even will accept requests about switching a sculpt’s elf ears with another’s, how their resin is good(or at least decent) quality, how their colors are even, etc, etc… they sound like an amazing company.
Even though they weren’t my first choice for First Doll, they are definitely on my list of companies I might love. And seeing the love these owners put into their dolls from there, all the cool and unique characters they shell… that is what showed me that maybe I should look again. And while many of their 1/3 and above sculpts aren’t really my thing….There’s still Bobobie Sprite. And I’m pretty sure I know what my next doll will be.~AnonymousToo long, didn’t read. You have white skinned dolls in your collection, and dark skinned, and even dolls with asian features. You have male and female dolls. Goes without saying, some of your doll characters are gay. Think you’ve gotten away with it, you bigot? Where are your fat dolls, you fatshamer? Where are your autistic amputees, you ableist? Where are your transboilesbian fridgekin, you transhomophobic speciest? Don’t you ever think you’re safe, you prejudiced scum. Anyone know what happened to the company Marchen Waltz?
I always thought their heads were cute and wanted to get one once money permitted but their website is gone and I can’t seem to find why. Also, is it just me or are more companies closing down recently? ~AnonymousBut recasts don’t affect the hobby!!! I like Reese as a person. Both are dramaloving so I guess that’s a trait they share. Reese doesn’t have a disgusting bullying personality though. She doesn’t post and bitch about her customers like Echo. Posts here had proof. I can’t look past that Reese can look past those horroble traits though. I really wanted to be closer friends… ~AnonymousBirds of a feather and all that
