CSESoc Student Mentee Program New to CSE in 2017? The CSESoc Student Network is a program which is designed for new UNSW students to adjust to life at CSE. You'll be paired with a suitable mentor, who you can direct your questions to. There are also events scheduled throughout Semester 1 such as BBQs, a scavenger hunt, pizza night and trivia where you can meet and greet your mentor and fellow mentees. Events will be scheduled away from common first-year lecture times to maximise the chances of making them, but don't get too stressed if you end up missing an event or two. By becoming a Mentor, you will also have your volunteering recognised on your graduation statement (AHEGS).
