It came in a plastic Ziploc style package and included a free necklace with it.My son says it feels a big larger than he expected. The material is comfortable to wear. He did not find it to be stiff as some reviews have indicated. Then again, his was larger than other reviews indicated. The hood was not on the jacket when we got it, so I helped him put it on. The hood was easy to put on and it looks really good.The jacket appears very well made. All of the buttons are secure. The stitching is solid with no fraying or loose threads anywhere.
